Howdy Y'all! Welcome to the web home of the Calamity Cowgirls Equestrian Rodeo Drill Team!
Our group is comprised of a bunch of fun loving cowgirls brought together by our love for horses and our never-ending quest for camaraderie while participating in an equestrian sport. What better sport could we have found than drilling?...None, I tell you!
What is drill you ask? Well, drill is the highly entertaining dance with horse and rider. Our team performs complex and intricate choreographed maneuvers at rodeo fast speeds all set to music. It really is a crowd pleasing sight to behold.
The Calamity Cowgirls are also very much dedicated to keeping the spirit of "The Old West" alive. We perform in authentic Indian and cowgirl regalia. Not only do we play Cowgirls and Indians we also perform in the always stunning red, white & blue!
